An Educational Approach to Magic

While magic is one of the most revered and oldest forms of social entertainment, Dr. Grimes uses magic to introduce children and young people to other countries and cultures.  Children don the costumes of the countries
whose magic is represented during the shows--Irish fairy and lepercon outfits for the magical fairy ring, Parisian berets and artists' neck scarves for the invisible coloring books, East Indian dresses for the Hindu rope tricks, and Japanese kimonos for the Ninja rings.

Magical props are central to Grimes' magic shows.  They populate the
tables and displays to create an environment filled with speculation,
anticipation, and wonder.
